Boerse Stuttgart Digital and the institutional cryptocurrency trading specialist Tradias have successfully concluded their merger following the necessary regulatory approval for ownership control. This strategic combination creates a robust digital asset infrastructure provider that now employs approximately three hundred professionals dedicated to serving the European financial sector.

The partnership was initially revealed during February of this year when both organizations decided to integrate their regulated cryptocurrency operations. The goal was to broaden the range of compliant services available to banks, brokerage firms, and other institutional participants throughout the continent, thereby strengthening Europe's position in the global digital asset landscape.

Under the new structure the combined entity continues to use the Boerse Stuttgart Digital brand for overall operations while retaining the Tradias name specifically for its trading and market-making activities. This dual-brand approach allows each legacy business to maintain its established identity with clients while benefiting from shared resources and governance.

The expanded organization delivers a comprehensive suite of services that includes trading execution, secure custody solutions, staking programs, and tokenization capabilities. Headquarters are located in the financial centers of Frankfurt and Stuttgart, supported by additional offices in Athens, Beirut, Berlin, Dubai, Madrid, Milan, and Ljubljana to ensure close proximity to key European and international markets.

Leadership of the merged company rests with co-chief executive officers Christopher Beck, founder of Tradias, and Ulli Spankowski, managing director of Boerse Stuttgart Digital. Their combined expertise is expected to drive innovation and operational excellence across all service lines.

Existing institutional clients such as DZ Bank, DekaBank, Intesa Sanpaolo, and Société Générale-FORGE will continue to receive custody and related services from the Boerse Stuttgart Digital side, while Tradias maintains relationships with flatexDEGIRO, dwpbank, and various European governmental bodies. The trading platform supports more than one hundred fifty cryptocurrencies along with additional digital assets, providing deep liquidity and professional market-making capabilities.

Although specific financial details of the transaction remain confidential, the merger positions the combined business to pursue European leadership in cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets. By uniting custody expertise with advanced trading infrastructure, the new entity is well placed to meet the growing demand from regulated financial institutions seeking secure and compliant entry points into the digital asset ecosystem.
